RICHMOND BALLET II is a second dance company of Richmond Ballet, the State Ballet of Virginia. Developed for the 2012-2013 season, it is an elite group of ten professional dancers led by Richmond Ballet’s own resident artist, Igor Antonov, performing a mixed dance repertory throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. RICHMOND BALLET II also serves as the ambassadors of Richmond Ballet’s outreach and education programs.

“We are very excited that our new company will be making one of its premiere tour performances at Virginia Intermont,” said Brett Bonda, managing director of Richmond Ballet and an alumnus of Intermont. “RICHMOND BALLET II will be presenting a public performance, along with a master class for the local dance community. It is so satisfying to think that one of the premiere performances of our newest company is taking place where I launched my professional career.”
The troupe will perform a variety of pieces from classical to energetic and zany for the Bristol audience. Tickets are priced from $10 to $20 and may be purchased online here.
